Con il capodanno arriva - come da tradizione questo blog - la classifica dei migliori dischi dell'anno appena chiuso. Anche questa volta parto dai cosiddetti "runners" o "dischi caldi", o come diavolo volete chiamarli, ovvero quei lavori che mi hanno ben impressionato e che vanno a collocarsi a ridosso della Top Ten per un pelo o giù di lì. Quindi si tratta di ottimi dischi che non hanno conquistato le prime posizioni per un nonnulla, per il moto astrale sfavorevole o per chissà quale misterioso motivo. Probabilmente, anzi, alcuni di questi meriterebbero una posizione ben diversa rispetto al calderone dei "dischi caldi" in cui li ho inseriti. Comunque, al di là di tutto ciò, il 2019 è stata senza alcun dubbio un'ottima annata ricca di tanta musica interessante. Forse è venuto a mancare il disco sorprendente, quello da strapparsi i capelli e da rotolarsi per terra per l'entusiasmo, ma la qualità generale è stata decisamente elevata. Un dato che salta subito all'occhio (o all'orecchio, se preferite) è il numero elevatissimo, forse spropositato, degli album che ho inserito in questa prima parte della classifica. Però devo ammettere, con tutta onestà, che questi lavori mi sono piaciuti davvero e, inoltre, devo aggiungere che questo risultato lo ho ottenuto ascoltando diverse migliaia di dischi, una roba esagerata. Penso, infatti, di aver battuto ogni record in questo 2019: ho ascoltato tanti di quei dischi da rischiare l'indigestione e per ognuno di quelli presenti in questa classifica ce ne solo almeno 20-30 se non di più che sono finiti nel cestino. Di sicuro, anche in questa occasione e ancora di più proprio in questa, ci potrebbe essere qualche errore o dimenticanza: ovvero qualche infiltrato che è riuscito a sfuggire alla raccolta differenziata e, viceversa, qualche capolavoro finito incidentalmente nella spazzatura. Quando il materiale è tanto e le orecchie sono solo due può succedere e non si tratta di un evento così raro. Del resto il tempo a disposizione è sempre troppo poco e le uscite discografiche sono sempre più numerose. Riavvolgendo il nastro e scavando tra il cassetti della memoria potrebbe accadere di trovare i disco dell'anno tra quelli presenti in questa classifica o addirittura tra quelli buttati nel cestino. Ma ormai non posso più farci niente.
Bando alle ciance, in questa prima parte del meglio del 2019 troverete oltre alle abbondanti dosi di punk, hardcore, post punk, death rock, shoegaze e indie tanto, tanto metal sopratutto nella sua variante black. Infatti questo genere un po' di nicchia ma non troppo si è impossessato del mio stereo per lunghi mesi di quest'anno appena concluso. Se negli anni precedenti erano presenti al massimo 10-20 dischi black metal in classifica quest'anno sono decisamente molti di più, forse un centinaio o quasi.
